This is a vegan, gluten free, warm and delicious oatmeal sweetened with maple syrup. A definition of heaven! When it is getting colder outside I just love eating things with cinnamon and maple syrup. It's my favorite! And this is one of the easiest recipes you can find!
I also love adding toppings like berries which where frozen first but after a few minutes they weren't that cold anymore haha :D
You can create this in a microwave or on a stove!

THE BEST CINNAMON MAPLE OATMEAL vegan, gluten free
prep time: cook time: 10 hourtotal time: 10 hours
A delicious warm cinnamon maple oatmeal with a autumn cinnamon taste.
ingredients:
- 1/2 cup gluten free oats
- 1 cup of almond milk
- 1 banana (ripe)
- 2 tbsp maple syrup
- pinch of salt
- 1/4 tsp vanilla extract
- 1 tbsp chia seeds
- 1 tsp cinnamon plus extra for dashing
instructions:
- Bring the almond milk, vanilla and salt to a low boil on the stovetop.
- Mash the banana and mix it with the milk. Add oats and chia seed, and reduce heat to simmer.
- Simmer on low for 3-5 minutes, and remove from heat.
- Let sit 5 minutes to thicken.
- Stir in cinnamon and maple syrup.
- Add your favorite toppings.
